Growing up in communities that lacked financial literacy was an obstacle the team had to overcome and a need they have felt compelled to address throughout their adult lives. Today, the team stands for wealth education – enthusiastically teaching anyone and everyone how to look beyond today and build wealth no matter what – or what is not – in their pocket.

Duemand L. Edwards

Co-Founder

Duemand Edwards’ upbringing in an economically disadvantaged environment, characterized by limited opportunities, negative attitudes towards wealth, and high crime rates, profoundly influenced his perspective on the vital role of financial literacy. As the youngest of 11 children born to parents with modest education, Edwards encountered numerous obstacles on his path to success, yet he triumphed over them. With a Master of Business Administration and over two decades of executive experience in higher education, he has excelled as a business executive, entrepreneur, investor, educator, and founder. Edwards has mentored thousands of individuals, leveraging his early experiences to offer guidance and inspiration on their paths to success. He firmly believes in the transformative power of financial literacy to unlock the inherent potential of individuals and communities. Through Seeds4Wealth, Edwards aims to unleash this potential by providing transformative financial literacy tools and resources.

Robert T. Vaughn

Co-Founder

Born and raised in Chicago’s inner city, Robert understands the challenges that arise from a scarcity of resources, access, and opportunities, which can lead even the most talented individuals astray. Robert himself attended public schools and received welfare, but he persevered, going from bankruptcy to launching and starting and leading successful multimillion-dollar tech startups, founding retail and entertainment ventures, financial investments, and other endeavors with over $50 MM under management. He firmly believes that anyone, regardless of their background, has the potential to achieve financial freedom and create positive change in their communities by promoting economic inclusiveness.

Michael B. Montgomery

Co-Founder

Michael Montgomery is a seasoned sales leader, financial educator, entrepreneur, and dedicated father. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has held executive roles in diverse industries, including higher education, food and beverage, tech, real estate, and finance. Growing up in New Orleans and Birmingham, Michael witnessed his parents’ remarkable journey from college students facing economic challenges to becoming successful entrepreneurs and leaders in accounting and wealth management. These experiences, along with his academic pursuits at Birmingham Southern College, Point University, and his business certifications from Tulane University, fueled his passion for sharing wealth-building principles within his community. From imparting financial knowledge to his children to co-founding Seeds4Wealth, Michael is unwavering in his commitment to helping others forge a streamlined path to economic independence.
